Single implant restoration in maxillary anterior and premolar region:Case reports

Abstract
Single implant restoration is one of the most common treatment modalities in implant dentistry.
¢¥The conventional bridge restoration for restoring the missing area of one tooth has many advantages: long term clinical data, aesthetic enough, low cost, etc. But it has a critical disadvantage: the preparation of the adjacent teeth for restoration. More extensive and expensive treatment is needed when the bridge fails. The new restoration usually has shorter longevity than the previous one. Single implant restoration, on the other hand, has the great merit that it can be restored while the adjacent teeth are intact. The single implant should restore both of two aspects, especially in maxillary anteriors and bicuspid area: function and aesthetics. This article is case reports about restoring these missing areas.
